The ten days

Two hours of your time, start to finish

The audit is built so your team barely feels it. One kickoff, view-only access to what you already use, and a debrief. Everything between those is my work, not yours.

Day 1

Kickoff, 90 minutes

You walk me through what your team actually does in a week and where it jams. I ask a lot of questions about the boring parts, because the boring parts are where the hours hide.

Then you hand over view-only access to the tools you already run. No admin rights, no changes to anything.

Days 2 to 7

I go count

I trace the real path of work through your stack: what gets done twice, what gets rebuilt every month, what a tool you're paying for already covers. Ninety days of shipped work against what your team says each piece takes, with the waiting time read off your timestamps.

You get one note from me around day 5 with what I'm seeing so far, so a wrong read gets corrected early rather than at the debrief. Other than that your team hears nothing.

Days 8 and 9

The blueprints get written

Each system on the kill list gets a blueprint detailed enough to hand to any developer: what it does, what it connects to, what it costs to run, and how you'd know it's working.

Day 10

Debrief, 30 minutes

I hand over all five documents plus the recorded walkthrough, and answer whatever the documents raised. If you want a build, we scope it here. If you don't, you still keep everything.

What it costs

Real prices, listed. The fifteen-minute call is free and nothing is charged until the kickoff.

First build

$12,000 to $18,000

Scoped from the audit, target 30 days

The top item off your kill list, built, documented, and handed over running. Price depends on what the blueprint says, which is why the blueprint comes first.

  • Built in accounts you own
  • Documented for whoever maintains it next
  • Your audit fee comes off the total

Or free. Four firms this month get the audit at no cost and the build at half, in exchange for a case study. See the founding client program.

After that. If you want a new system built each month off the same ranked list, that's a conversation worth having once your first build is running and you can see what it actually returned. I'd rather price it against something real than guess at it here.

Full
refund

The refund has no conditions

Read the documents, decide they weren't worth it, tell me, and the money goes back. You keep the documents. There's no form, no measurement dispute, and no version of this where I argue with you about whether it counted.

Honest limits

One person, real capacityI run a small number of audits at a time. If the calendar is full, I'll tell you the actual date rather than invent scarcity.
Samples are labeled as samplesWhere a document on this site uses a fictional firm, it says so on the document. You will never have to guess which numbers are real.
I'll tell you noIf fifteen minutes tells me an audit wouldn't find enough to justify the fee, that's what I'll say.

Fifteen minutes, then you'll know

Fifteen minutes, no charge, no deck. Tell me what your team keeps redoing by hand and I'll tell you straight whether an audit would find enough to be worth it.
